Intersectional - ITOH - Peony with very large, semi-double to double, golden apricot to yellow flowers with stripes of of deep purple-pink.
An especially vigorous plant - it can produce up to 75 blooms in a single season; the sturdy flower stems require no staking. It has the dark green, deeply cut foliage of the tree peony parent and pleasing bush shape.
Healthy green foliage similar to that of a tree peony forms an impressively sturdy clump to 3ft tall and wide. Unlike some garden peonies, the foliage of this plant looks great from spring through fall and is substantial enough to be grown in place of a small shrub in the landscape.
Blooms from May-June..
Grows about 2-3 feet tall. USDA Zones 4-8.
