(Keppel, 2018) Tall Bearded Iris. Completely missed taking a picture of this iris this year. A pattern alien to the usual, this is hazy amber cream, with a one-inch luminous purple heather patch at the end of beards. Maybe a UFO trying to make contact? The beards are lavender white to yellow but almost entirely hidden from view

Height 38" (97 cm), Late midseason bloom. Standards and style arms amber white (M&P 11-C-1); falls amber white, slightly deeper (11-E-1) toward edge, ¾˝ purple heather (42-I-8) patch at end of beard; beards inconspicuous, yellow in throat, ends lavender white.
