A mature plants reaches up to 1.5 x 2 feet in size and bears many large, singe flowers that are creamy-white above, deep pink on the reverse.
This variety is a hybrid between Helleborus niger and Helleborus x sternii and forms an evergreen clump.
The abundant flowers are borne late winter into early spring. The foliage is rich, glossy, deep blue-green. These plants grow up to be a pretty hardy, low maintenance, and long lived perennial.
USDA Zones 4 - 7, may be grown successfully in cooler sections of Zone 8
