Deep blue flowers with prominent dark reddish-purple anthers, 6-8" in diameter. Makes a good cut flower and has attractive seed heads in fall.
Recipient of the Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society in 1993.
Blooms from May-June and again from Aug.-Oct. Grows well in sun or partial shade
